The main goal of the International Arlekin
Theatrical Festival "ARLEKINADE" is to create conditions
for the public contact of various theatrical communities and
styles aimed at competitive selection and encouragement of
the brightest and talented phenomena of modern Theatre.
The organizers of the Festival are guided by the principle of granting
equal opportunities to any theatrical company worldwide irrespective
of its popularity, financial standing or experience, thereby
particularly rendering the burden of material and moral support
of theatrical movement of all regions of Russia and the Commonwealth
of Independent States.

THE FESTIVAL INCLUDES:
-
Regional
festivals in Russia and CIS;
-
Competition in Moscow for the winners of regional festivals;
-
Festival tour for the winners of the Moscow competition in Europe
and the USA;

Solemn gala ceremony and Carnival in California (USA);
-
No more than 3 performances may be presented by each ensemble participating in the
Festival: a musical, a play by William Shakespeare,
a vaudeville or comedy orientation, "Commedia dell'Arte";
